There are no plans for using pneumatic (air filled) tires on any models currently slated for development. Pneumatic wheels and tires will add quite a bit of additional weight and we believe this option to be unnecessary except in the most extreme conditions of riding long distances on rough asphalt (in the street).

The Slider's Totally Unique scissor 'Action Decks' actuate from this (>) to this (=); and the all-wheel steering make the Slider infinitely more maneuverable, able to navigate on even the most crowded sidewalks & pathways. Trikke is the only scooter we are aware of that offers a pneumatic wheel model, and again, we think that it is an inherent requirement since Trikke’s fixed decks ( > > >)and front only steering gives it a very wide track; and makes it difficult if not impossible to share the smooth surface pathways with pedestrians and other vehicles forcing it into the streets.
