Q: Why does my front wheel hardware keep coming loose?
A: Whether front or rear, the axle hardware will work loose as there is a lot of stress and flexing induced through to the wheel from the pivoting and twisting action of the slider; the more aggressive the ride the greater the stress. We recommend that you visually inspect and tighten all hardware on a regular basis. If the slider is ridden continually while axle hardware is loose, the threads may be damaged and will no longer provide positive engagement of their mating surfaces. If the hardware can not be tightened or is constantly coming loose then it must be replaced as it is unsafe.
